ConvertSwift vs. Cloud Converters

Why local sandbox utilities are the future of file conversion interfaces.

Feature Spec ConvertSwift (Local) Traditional Cloud Tools
In-Browser Processing (Client-Side) Yes (Runs locally via JavaScript / WebAssembly) No (Sends file data over public networks to servers)
Strict Privacy Guarantee Yes (Files never leave system; no logs are stored) No (Files are processed and cached on cloud servers)
File Size Limits Unlimited (Load a 500MB raw photo instantly) Capped (Pay/upgrade required for files over 100MB)
Offline Mode Functionality Yes (Compress files on an airplane without internet) No (Conversion fails instantly if network drops)
Ad-Free & Unlimited Runs Yes (No popup ads, unlimited runs) Capped (Aggressive popups, limits daily runs)

Zero uploads. Total security.

Traditional converters require upload limits and storage of your personal data on external servers. We do things differently.

Client-Side Processing

All file processing runs inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your images, PDFs, and videos never touch our servers.

Infinite Speed

Forget about waiting for uploads and downloads. ConvertSwift parses and converts your documents instantly at native CPU speeds.

Always Free, No Caps

Because there is no expensive server-side conversion bandwidth, we don't have to charge you. Convert massive files without subscription blockades.

What Developers & Editors Say

See why users choose in-browser media compression utilities.

"Having an image resizer that runs entirely locally inside my browser makes compiling newsletter visual assets a breeze. I don't worry about data leaks anymore, and it saves me gigabytes of uploads daily."

Frequently Asked Questions

Learn more about client-side file tools and privacy.

Currently, our active tools support the following specifications:
Image Resizer: Supports input of JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP formats up to 50MB.
Image Compressor: Supports JPEG, PNG, and WebP compression. Transparent PNGs can be converted to WebPs to retain alpha channels.
Format Converter: Supports input of JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, and Apple HEIC/HEIF files up to 100MB per file.
Yes, absolutely. Because all tool processes happen completely within your local web browser, none of your files are ever transmitted over the network to a server. You can even disconnect your internet and continue using the tools once loaded.
No server limitations exist since we don't host file systems. The only boundary is your computer's local memory (RAM). Most modern browsers easily process files up to 2GB locally.
We are currently in Phase 1 of our product launch, establishing the platform, user interface, and structure. In Phase 2, we will integrate client-side libraries (like ffmpeg.js and pdf-lib) to make the conversions functional.
