The Local Storage Promise

Unlike standard online conversion portals, we do not have files uploaded to our databases. Your documents, sheets, photos, and video formats are loaded into your browser's temporary memory (RAM) and processed in a secure sandbox.

This means your files are immune to intercept attacks, server database breaches, or unauthorized mining. When you close the ConvertSwift tab, all loaded binary payloads are permanently erased from memory.

WebAssembly & Browser Sandbox

In Phase 2, our conversions will be powered by compiled WebAssembly programs. WebAssembly executes code inside a restricted browser sandbox. The program is given access only to the file you manually import through the interface, ensuring it cannot access other areas of your device.

What Data We Collect

We believe in absolute transparency. Here is exactly what data is retained:

• Theme settings: Stored locally on your machine via localStorage to remember if you prefer Dark or Light mode.
• Prioritization votes: A checklist of features you voted to speed up is saved locally to avoid double-voting.
• Analytics: Minimal, privacy-focused traffic hits that contain absolutely no identifiable details, filenames, or file dimensions.
